Trade license

A Trade license is one of the important documents to commence a trade. This license is to give permission to start a commercial activity. Again the license is governed or issued by the State Government Authority. All state have their own department who issued certificate to the entrepreneur.

 

 

Trade license is a certificate/ document that permits an entity to carry on the business or trade activities in a particular municipal limit for which it is issued. The provision of a trade license is laid down by the State government to monitor and regulate various trade activities within a city. In Uttar Pradesh, trade license is issued by the respective Municipal Corporations of Uttar Pradesh to traders and establishments, to monitor and regulate various trade activities at the city level. A trade license is a document/certificate that gives permission to the applicant (person seeking to open a business) to commence a particular trade or business in a particular area/location

It ensured that the business or trade is carried by adhering to all the standards of safety as issued by State Municipal Corporation . It protects the residents from being affected by any health hazards.

 

However, the license does not allow the holder to carry out any other trade or business than for it is issued. Furthermore, this license does not pass on any kind of property ownership to the holder of the license.

 

Following are the list of documents required to obtain Trade License from Uttarpradesh

 

  • Address Proof and Identity Proof – Individual.
  • Affidavit
  • Certificate of Incorporation, MOA and AOA of the company.
  • Cancelled Cheque and Bank Statement.
  • Certificate of Incorporation, MOA and AOA of the company.
  • IT return and Property Tax Receipt
  • Legal Occupancy document proof of the establishment/unit or allotment letter of the government agency.
  • Documentary proof of establishment of trade.
  • Lease Deed of the constitution.
  • Documentary proof regarding the non-existence of unauthorised construction.
  • NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the land-owning agency.
