The Trade Marks Registry was established in India in 1940 and presently it administers the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and the rules made thereunder. It acts as a resource and information Centre and is a facilitator in matters relating to trademarks in the country. The objective of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 is to register trademarks applied for in the country and to provide for better protection of trademark for goods and services and also to prevent fraudulent use of the mark.

 

A trademark is basically any word, name, symbol etc. which is used to identify and distinguish products or services of one specific seller or service provider from those of other competitors in the market. It also indicates the source of the products or services.

 

A Trademark classification is a procedure by which examiners and the trademark attorneys arrange the required documents including trademark and service mark application, according to the description of goods to which the marks are applicable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Import -Export Registration /IEC Certificate

 

IEC code is a mandatory documents for a person who indulge in import export business . IEC assists you in taking your services or product to the global market and growing your businesses. According to the latest circular issued by the government, IEC is not mandatory for all traders who are registered under GST. In all such cases, the PAN of the trader shall be construed as new IEC code for the purpose of import and export. Import Export Code (IEC) isn’t required to be taken in case the goods exported or imported is for personal purposes and isn’t used for any commercial purpose. Export/ Import done by the Government of India Departments and Ministries, Notified Charitable institutions need not require getting Import Export Code.

  • Pancard of proprietor/Partners/Directors

 

  • Aadhar Card of Proprietor/Partners/Directors

 

  • Cancel cheque of Current Account.

 

  • Electricity Bill and Rent Agreement of Office Premises

 

  • GST Registration.
